Dear Home Owner:
We are residents of the Loyalist Golf Community and provide a Home Care Service. We would be happy to check your home for the coming fall/winter season while you are away for an extended period of time.
Our services consist of checking your home at least three times per week and after severe weather. We will also pick up mail and water a few plants.
We will inform you of damages that may occur as a result of weather conditions or due to vandalism and we will call the proper authorities to respond (insurance, police, fire department). We will also inform you of any household equipment failures (heating, plumbing, electrical) and take the appropriate action to reduce damages.
When professional services are required for repairs, the Home Owner is responsible for giving us direction on how to proceed. If you would like us to deal directly with the Contractors, we will charge you a reasonable fee for our time.
We do not provide snow removal, but recommend you hire a Contractor to clear driveways and walks of snow, as this will make your home appear lived-in and give us safe and easy access. We will advise you if we are unable to check your home due to snow accumulation.
