Bath Family Pharmacy.
Do you need to see a doctor and don’t have a family doctor or your doctor is not available? Maybe you are visiting and need a doctor but don’t feel you should go to the hospital emergency department.
There is a solution to this dilemma right here in Bath.
Mitul Pavagadhi the owner/ manager of Bath Family Pharmacy (Pharmasave) has provided us with access to “Good doctors” a virtual doctors visit service.
Virtual health care itself is nothing new in Ontario. Since the mid 1990s patients living in rural and northern communities have been able to attend at local health facilities equipped with video technology and see a remote specialist many kilometers away. We now have this service in Bath.
To Access this Service
You must call “Good doctors” to make an appointment. Phone: (888) 818-3254
Good Doctors hours are 10 am to 6 pm – Monday to Friday
(Appointments are usually available the same day or the next day)
Mitul or one of his trained technicians will take your blood pressure, perform a blood oxygen content test, and take your temperature and heart rate. Mitul or one of his trained technicians can also test for Urinary Tract Infections (UTI) and Strep Throat.
You will then be shown to a private room where you can connect to a doctor by video call. The doctor will be able to renew prescriptions, prescribe new medication, give referrals to specialist, order blood works and provide health advice and guidance.
With his move to a new premises Mike is now offering a Foot Clinic two days a week, Mondays and Tuesdays. Call Jennifer Morris at 613-329-0271 – Jennifer is an Advance Foot care and Certified Diabetic Foot care nurse.
