Why not give it a try?  There is a group in and around Bath that get together every couple of weeks and go for a ride together.  This is DEFINITELY recreational cycling.  We might go 35 km in a day – but that day is broken up with lots of stops for water, chat, maybe ice cream and, of course, food.  You don’t need a high tech bike and you don’t need high tech clothes.

All you need is yourself, a bike that works, the energy to make it to the end and most definitely a helmet.  Of course, if you did not make it to the end, we would come back in a vehicle to pick you up.

We are looking forward to a great biking season again this year and hope to have lots of new, easy routes on which to travel (translated means no hills).

Some routes require a hybrid or off road bike, but you will be advised of that well in advance of any ride so you can make your decision.

We are also always on the lookout of people who are aware of different locations to ride and might be willing to take responsibility for a ride or two.

If you think you might be interested in joining in, please contact: Wendy O’Neill at (613) 352 5610 or by email
